We’re excited to announce the latest updates in Exergy Release 27.2, packed with new features and enhancements designed to improve functionality and user experience. Let’s take a closer look at the changes:

Exposed Queries in OData Format
We have exposed queries in OData format, enabling users to build dashboards without requiring direct database access. The following queries are now available:

- ODataClaimView
- ODataGroupedFinancialsView

Customisable Contract Type Descriptions
Users can now override the contract type description when creating or altering a scheme. The new description will appear wherever the contract is displayed, while lookup lists in searches will still display the original contract-type description.

Enhanced Data Cleanup Task
We’ve replaced the Data Cleanup task with a new implementation that regulates the amount of data deleted in a batch. This ensures system responsiveness and runs exclusively outside of working hours based on the configured workday setup. Parameters are no longer required from the user.

On the Update Information client screen, users must now provide at least the following details for natural persons:
- Initials
- Surname
- Date of Birth

An advanced search feature has been added, allowing users to search using:
- Partial broker code

New Employment Record Endpoint
We have introduced the POST endpoint Clients/V1/Clients/Employment to create or update employment records. Key points:
- The employergid must belong to an employer that acts as a payment deduction agency.
- Employee number validation ensures records are only created or updated when valid.

- Claims screen on claim benefits

On the underwriting page, users can now edit document classifications. Additionally, the list of attachments includes all uploaded attachments with a general classification.

Single Sign-On with OpenID
Exergy Portals and ExergyWeb now support Single Sign-On (SSO) using OpenID. Configuration is managed via the appsettings file and may require updates to the release pipelines.
Important Notes
ID 145903: Entries in LIF_PGS_T_Table that should be editable by users (e.g., for scheme rates) must be configured as such.
ID 147663: Client solutions should upgrade client-specific code packages to align with the latest NuGet packages, such as EPPlus.
ID 148663: Files deleted from Life Solutions (e.g., LifeCO\Connector\clsExclusionUC) must be manually removed when client teams sync.
ID 149383: Ensure Exergy Portals and ExergyWeb’s SSO with OpenID are configured properly via appsettings.
ID 149687: The error log table will be dropped and recreated upon the first error logged.
